Richard Cummings is easily distracted and enjoys sparkly things, things that move, and things with sugar. He is an artist, designer, and Professor of Art at College of the Ozarks where he is also the director of the college’s Boger Gallery. Dr. Cummings was a long-time member of the international art and faith organization, Christians in the Visual Arts (CIVA), and he sat on its governing board for many years. He received his BA in English literature from Milligan College (1996), his MAFA in studio art from the University of Leeds in England (1999) and his DWS from the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies (2014).

Richard was diagnosed with ADD (Impulsivity) back in 2016 at the tender age of 41.
No-one who knew him was surprised by the diagnosis.
